Between September 2018 & July 2019 I worked as a photographer on the 'Tate Year 3 Project'. Described as 'One of the world’s most ambitious art projects', the Tate Year 3 Project is a major new artwork by Turner Prize and Oscar-winning artist, Steve McQueen, which will culminate in one of the most ambitious schools projects that London has ever seen. Every Year 3 class across London has been invited to take part in the largest group portrait ever made. In my role as one of the nine photographers, I visited 227 schools across London, delivering an introduction to year 3 pupils about the project and artist, and taking a class photo to join the 3163 total that will be on display at Tate Britain's Duveen Gallery in November 2019 and an outdoor exhibition across the capital.
