Flower Project 2016
In the summer of 2016 I set myself a photography challenge. My cousin is a keen amateur photographer and was adamant that I should take photographs of all the flowers in bloom in the local park. I started out with my standard lens taking pretty, but boring pictures. I decided to try different techniques with different lenses to really push myself. I did a lot of experimentation with lenses such as the 85mm Helios 'Bokeh King' , 90mm Macro, and 70-200. I soon found I was shooting above, through and amongst the flowers; chasing bees, the sun, and fighting the wind with stiff manual lenses..
